Halfway between Glen Arbor and Leland, Little Traverse Inn is the ideal Up North getaway along M22 – just minutes from the shores of Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore. Whether celebrating a new marriage, attending a festival, or simply roaming the lands of cherry trees, you’ll experience the charm of this historic inn and the warm hospitality of our staff and Scottish innkeeper, Graeme. Built in 1890, the Inn has been recently renovated to offer six guest rooms with private baths (including two master suites) that are comfy second-story retreats. As our guest, you’ll enjoy a full chef’s breakfast featuring the best of the seasons’ local ingredients. As our friend, you’ll find yourself at home.
Graeme, an accomplished cook, and sometimes, a darn-good dishwasher, and his family are thrilled to invite all to enjoy the warmth and culinary delights of Little Traverse Inn. Graeme along with his daughters, Chelsea and Gemma, will no doubt entertain all with a song or two whether you stay for dinner or for a while. Graeme has long dreamed of bringing the best of his homeland to the Leelanau peninsula. By putting the needs of their guests first at Little Traverse Inn, they will bring to you quality food, great beer, fine wines and spirits, and warm hospitality; all served up with good cheer in unpretentious yet warm surroundings.
